Definition of Terms

‘The Owner’ is Dreamy Dome Events Perth.


‘The Hirer’ is the company, firm or persons specified below, including their successors or personal representatives.


‘Equipment’ includes all igloos, picnic equipment, backdrops, projectors, screens, lighting, furniture, décor, accessories and other hire equipment booked for the hire period.


If you do not understand any information contained within this document, or require further clarification on any of the points below, please speak to your installation team or contact Dreamy Dome Events directly. We require all persons hiring equipment to have read and understood the contents of this document. In hiring any equipment from Dreamy Dome Events, it is deemed that the following terms and conditions are accepted.


We reserve the right to refuse hire at any point if the following terms and conditions have not been adhered to.


The igloos require a minimum of 2 people to install and to take down. We will fully install the fixture on delivery.


Our igloos are "pop up" designs and come with doors and windows that can be easily opened during your hire. The igloos are not a permanent structure and can be damaged in very severe weather conditions.


During Summer and Spring, the latest we are able to have set up completed by is 5pm.


The igloo can be warmer inside compared to outside temperature.


Gusts / wind over 30km p/h is deemed unsafe and we will be unable to set up. Please refer to the cancellation policy that applies.


Should the igloo be damaged during the hire period, the customer will be responsible for the repair costs. If the igloo is damaged beyond repair, the customer is responsible to cover the replacement cost of $1900.


Maximum guests in the igloo's is eight at one time.


No smoking in the igloo


Payments & Security Policy

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking (unless quoted otherwise) and reserve your requested date of hire. The remaining balance is due for payment 1 week prior to your event date, along with a refundable bond amount of $100 (unless quoted otherwise). The bond is required due to as follows:


Should any equipment become damaged during any hire period, the repair costs will be deducted from the hirer's security bond. If the repair costs exceed the deposit balance, then the hirer will be wholly responsible for payment of the remaining balance.


The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring the security of the equipment at all times. Any costs arising from the equipment not being secured, are chargeable to the hirer and will be deducted from the security bond.


A cleaning fee may apply if the igloo/picnic/ backdrops/ equipment/decor hired isn’t returned upon collection in the condition it was delivered.

A late fee WILL apply if the hirer is more than 30 minutes late to the agreed booking time. The late fee is charged at $50 for any hirer more than 30 minutes late and may exceed that depending on the time of arrival. If the hirer is more than 1 hour late to the agreed booking time, the owner will deem a no show and commence pack down, the hirer remains liable for 100% payment of full booking. The agreed pack down / collection time does not differ if the hirer is late.


For any public locations that require a permit, the hirer is responsible for the cost of the permit.


Any booking that is requested for after 10pm or before 7am will incur an additional fee of $100/hour.



No pets allowed in or on equipment. Cleaning chargers apply.


Cancellation Policy

The hirer may cancel at any time by advising the owner in writing; however, cancellation fees will occur.


Bookings cancelled within five (5) days of the event date will be charged 100% of the total booking cost. Bookings cancelled between seven (7) and fourteen (14) days will be charged 50% of the total booking cost. Bookings cancelled outside fourteen (14) days of the event will be charged the non-refundable deposit amount and any permit fees required.


Cancellations of bookings/events due to weather shall still be subject to the cancellation policy above. The owner is in no way responsible for intemperate weather that may cause the hirer to cancel their booking.


If we arrive for installation and are unable to setup due to inadequate space for the equipment, inappropriate surface types or inaccessible areas, then the hirer remains liable for 100% payment of the full booking.


The owner reserves the right to cancel any booking where there is a potential health & safety risk to the hirer, their guests or the public. We will always provide as much notice as possible in these circumstances.


Extent of Contract and Title

No conditions or warranties other than specified herein shall be implied or deemed to be incorporated to form part of the contract. The Owner will retain the title and ownership to the equipment.


Delivery and Collection Policy

Prior to your booking any delivery costs will be confirmed.


We may be able to deliver outside of the areas shown on our website. If you are outside these areas, then please contact us to see if we can help.


Delivery and collection slots will be confirmed with you 24-48 hours before the delivery date, once driving routes have been confirmed. Please ensure that you are available on the day of delivery and collection.


On installation, our team will be there to guide you through any equipment and controls and advise on anything else needed for your rental.


On collection our team will ensure that all equipment is safely disassembled and fully disinfected.


If we are unable to provide your delivery due to vehicle failure, illness or any other unfortunate situation, then we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity. Should this occur, the hirer is entitled to either a full refund (less the non-refundable deposit and any permit fees) or booking for an alternative date.

It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure that there is adequate space for our products, and that the desired location is accessible and clear of any mess or debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location.


You are wholly responsible for ensuring that all the equipment is returned in the condition that it was delivered. If any equipment is returned damaged or severely soiled, we will either charge for repair or, if the equipment is deemed unrepairable, claim the entire replacement value. We do not allow the hirer to obtain their own repair services.


Any equipment which is not available at collection, must be returned to us, and a hire charge will be applied for the extra time period.



The owner shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death or loss of income caused to the hirer, any third parties or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services by Dreamy Dome Events.




The owner reserves the right at any time, to modify these terms and conditions to suit the changing business needs. As soon as the changes are posted and visible on the Dreamy Dome Events website the amended terms and conditions are effective.
